July 2023: Yebi Health joins the East Africa Radio Drive Show to present the Yebi Health platform and Super Eco non-antibiotic UTI remedy

The Yebi Health team also had the opportunity to highlight their flagship product, "Super Eco". This powerful solution combines the benefits of D-Mannose and Vitamin C to provide effective prevention & management of urinary tract infections. The team elaborated on the scientific research behind the formulation and how it can offer relief and support for individuals suffering from chronic UTIs.

June 2023: Yebi Health presents to Tanzania's Minister of Health, Ummy Mwalimu, at the National Pharmacy Week and TAPSA ASC Annual Meeting

The National Pharmacy Week and TAPSA ASC Annual Meeting was a highly anticipated event for healthcare professionals and industry leaders. This event provided an important opportunity for companies like Yebi Health to present their innovative digital health platform to the Health Minister, Ummy Mwalimu and other stakeholders. Yebi Health's digital marketplace provides a convenient platform for patients to access medication and other health products online, improving access to care throughout the country. The event also highlighted the importance of combating Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR), with Super Eco (D-Mannose and Vitamin C), a non-antibiotic remedy that is being recognized for its role in managing urinary tract infections.

June 2023: In partnership with Recroot Africa, Yebi Health launches "RAY Fellowship" in Tanzania

A collaborative effort between our two Tanzanian startups; Yebi Health and Recroot Africa has launched the "RAY Fellowship", a 6-month intensive program aimed to furnish recent graduates and current university students with on the job training in the healthcare supply chain human resources and education.

The Fellowship Program is designed to provide a unique opportunity for students to bridge the gap between academia and industry, by providing university students with an opportunity to apply their skills into real projects either while they’re in school or during their field training. We’re joining hands with specific universities and departments, in order to enable this as part of moving the needle further on changing how impactful fellowships can truly be with real employer-based applications and modules.

October 2022: Yebi Health secures investment from Funguo Innovation Programme

Yebi Health has secured investment from the Funguo innovation program, a programme dedicated to accelerate the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through innovation and aims to increase the number of successfully scaled innovation ventures/ startups to contribute to the National Development Goals and the Sustainable Development Goals in Tanzania.

It is a great honour to be in the first cohort of Funguo Innovation Program as investees for the next 12 months. This investment is dedicated to optimize our technology and services at our online marketplace and accommodate our stakeholders who are suppliers of pharmaceuticals, retail pharmacies, patients and regulators.
